Changemakers was formed in 1994 by a coalition of educationalists and NGOs who believed in young people’s leadership potential.
Since then, we have helped over 100,000 young people to unlock their leadership potential, as well as influencing many of the key developments in education and youth policy.
We employ 30 staff in three offices in London, Birmingham and Newcastle. Our turnover in 2009-10 was £3.1m. Changemakers is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee.
Last year we worked with 12,305 young people.
